Remembering passwords / Changing to Wireless internet

Every once in a while, I’m grateful for the fact that my company has a brilliant system of letting us record our personal details in a fool-proof and secure manner.

It’s only because of that great module, that I am now able to log in to any of my personal accounts on the web without having to take 5-minutes to figure out the username and password combination.

It’s been a while since I enjoyed surfing the web at home. The reason? My horrendously slow streamyx (read ISP) line that promises 1Mbps but in fact delivers a mere 400Kbps on a blue moon.

Being horribly fed-up, I made a decision to switch my internet provider and go for one of those 3.6Mbps (ooooh), HSDPA, wireless modems. Being the wary shopper I am, I wanted to try all the services possible before I settled on one.

Luckily, I found a company called Internet Insider that provided just what I was looking for. They came over Saturday morning tested out a number of the ISPs (primarily for wireless internet) and then offered to register for me too. Talk about an amazing offer! Why hasn’t anyone thought of this before?
